Nurse Technician (Home Care)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Nurse Technician to deliver quality home-based nursing care to patients of all ages and health conditions. The ideal candidate works well independently, uses sound clinical judgment, and treats every patient with respect and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned nursing care under the supervision of the Registered General Nurse (RGN), including support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and positioning.

• Measure and document vital signs, oxygen saturation, blood glucose (where trained and authorized), and other clinical observations.

• Monitor patients for any change in physical condition, behavior, or wellbeing, and report concerns to the RGN without delay.

• Carry out routine nursing procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and applying compression or support devices.

• Assist with medication preparation and other delegated tasks within your scope of practice.

• Take part in patient assessments, care planning, and care evaluation, and provide basic health education to patients and their families.

• Keep clear, accurate, and confidential patient records.

• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and the care team.

• Follow infection prevention and control standards, including cleaning equipment and keeping supplies stocked.

• Escalate to the RGN whenever a situation falls outside your competence or scope of practice.

Requirements

• Higher secondary education plus an 18-month to 2-year nursing diploma, or a 3-year nursing diploma after 9 years of schooling.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Technician or Nurse Assistant.

• Valid nursing council license or registration certificate from your home country.

• Valid MOPH license as a Nurse Technician in Qatar, or eligibility for MOPH licensing.

• Completed or in-progress DataFlow verification is an advantage.

• Good communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
