Nursery teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development, a creative approach to teaching, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Design activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning.

• Classroom Management: Create a welcoming and organized classroom environment that promotes active participation, cooperative play, and a sense of belonging. Set clear expectations for behavior and create a positive classroom culture.

• Individualized Instruction: Recognize and address the unique learning needs and interests of each child. Provide personalized attention to support their growth and development.

• Parent Communication: Establish open and effective lines of communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates on children's progress, achievements, and areas of development.

• Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and document each child's growth, maintaining accurate records of their developmental milestones, skills, and challenges. Use assessments to inform instructional decisions.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive learning community. Attend staff meetings and contribute to professional development opportunities.

• Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Adhere to health and safety protocols and respond promptly to any medical or emotional needs.

• Professional Growth: Stay current with trends and best practices in early childhood education through professional development, workshops, and continued education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nursery Teacher or in a similar early childhood education role.

• Strong understanding of child development theories, teaching methodologies, and age-appropriate practices.

• Creative and adaptable teaching approach that encourages exploration and curiosity.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

• Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom is a plus.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
