Operational Technology Security Engineer

Role:

The OT Security Site Lead supports manufacturing operational technology security by implementing regional initiatives, managing asset visibility, leading vulnerability remediation, ensuring equipment backup/recovery, and assisting incident management. They collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure operations at the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication, technical support, training, and project activities as the site representative.

• Maintain equipment asset visibility through vulnerability and intrusion detection systems.

• Develop and execute annual vulnerability remediation plans and investigate alerts.

• Support equipment backup/recovery processes and coordinate incident responses.

• Contribute as a regional subject matter expert in developing OT security tools and processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

• At least 2 years of experience with machine control networks/ICS, and a foundational understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.

• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity, strong communication skills, and business acumen in technical environments.

Additional Details:

The role involves flexible work hours, occasional travel, and may require weekend or holiday work. Sponsorship for employment visa status is not available.
