Job Description:

Care of the Child requiring:

Chest Tubes.
High flow Nasal Cannula.
Tracheostomy.
Central line Care and Management.
G- Tube Care and Management.
Post -Op Cardiac Adult Care and Management.

Specifically:

Growth and development, Birth – Adult.
Head-to-toe assessment, recognition of the unwell child.
IV fluid Management; monitoring Input/Output.
Specimen Collection.
Care Planning.
Medication Administration; including Oxygen Administration.
Basic Monitoring including early warning scores.
Nutritional requirements and enteral Feeding.
Pain assessment and management, including epidural and PCA Management.
Risk screening and Management.
Skin Integrity.
Wound Assessment and Management.
Management and Insertion of Urinary Catheter and Bladder Care.
Transfusion Management.
Point of Care Testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (4 years)
Registered Nurse in Qatar
2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience within the relevant specialty from a highly esteemed healthcare institution
Valid professional Nursing license in country of origin

Specific Skills and Abilities:

Effective communication skills
Excellent team player
Motivated and enthusiastic
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Fluency in written and spoken English
