Role Description

The Physical Education Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. The teacher plans and delivers age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote fitness, motor skills development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. Daily responsibilities include organizing and supervising sports activities, assessing student performance, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and managing equipment and facilities. The role involves contributing to curriculum planning, collaborating with other teachers and school staff, and supporting school-wide events, sports days, and extracurricular athletic programs. The Physical Education Teacher is expected to engage families and students in understanding the importance of regular physical activity and wellness.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Physical Education with the ability to design and implement engaging PE programs.

  • Strong background in Sports Coaching, including organizing training sessions and guiding students in team and individual sports.

  • Experience in Curriculum Development for physical education or related subjects, aligned with school standards and student needs.

  • Formal training in Education and proven Teaching experience, preferably at the primary or secondary school level.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.

  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.

  • Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and families.

  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, health and safety practices, and basic first aid; relevant certifications are an advantage.

  • Willingness to participate in school events, after-school activities, and ongoing professional development.
