Overview
Join our innovative engineering team as a Powertrain Calibration & Software Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and optimizing advanced powertrain control systems for performance vehicles while overseeing emissions compliance, third-party testing coordination, and technical document processing.
Duties

Develop and implement calibration strategies for engine and transmission control units using specialized software tools.

Conduct root cause analysis on powertrain performance issues, identifying and resolving software or hardware discrepancies efficiently.

Ensure compliance with industry standards like ASME codes & durability.

Utilize ATI Vision to perform calibration changes and testing with emulated modules.

Manage project scheduling and coordination across cross-functional teams to meet development milestones in engineering product development projects.

Lead troubleshooting efforts through detailed data analysis and root cause investigations during vehicle testing phases.

Execute calibration and software development for active and upcoming OEM-adjacent programs.

Support the process to obtain Executive Orders (EOs) or updates/revisions from CARB as requested.

Facilitate vehicle emissions and powertrain testing through third-party suppliers as needed.

Maintain compliance with the vehicle operation policies for on-road testing
Skills
-
Extensive experience with project management tools for scheduling and tracking development tasks, direct JIRA experience preferred.

Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively with software developers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers.

Demonstrated background in engine powertrain calibration, software development, and CARB/EPA emissions testing processes.

Valid driver's license clear for public road driving and proof of insurance meeting the company standards to operate company test vehicles.
Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 โ 40.0 per week
