Job description

*The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Principal Data and Systems Analyst to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Develop and execute test plans for business intelligence products

Work in partnership with clinical business customers to understand business needs

Analyse data sources and conduct gap analyses between user needs and data capabilities.

Be a subject matter expert in the development of views, information layers and data models

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $5,531.60 - $5,936.50 per fortnight

The Queensland Trauma Data Collection is a statewide, clinician-led service hosted by Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. QTDC collects, integrates and analyses trauma and injury data from health services across Queensland to support clinical governance, quality improvement, service planning, performance monitoring and system-level decision-making.
