Are you an experienced senior software engineer and manager? Ready to lead product development and streamline processes and operations in a rapidly growing small company? Our UAS Traffic Management (UTM) and Air Domain Awareness products are becoming the most-deployed solutions in defense and gaining traction. We need an established and adaptable leader to join our executive team. Someone with the drive to create agile and scalable development operations capable of sustaining and accelerating the rapid deployment of our products.

We need:

A leader and mentor with agile (literally – we are not a rigid Agile environment) project management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-responsive development environment
Experienced in design, development, and deployment of browser-based real-time data display, ideally geospatial/situational awareness
Integration with multiple diverse products
Comfortable with both air-gapped and cloud deployments, FIPS compliance, message brokers (RabbitMQ or similar), and automated monitoring and metrics.
Strong in DevOps, including Git, CI/CD pipeline, optimizing use of issue trackers
A Java expert, with experience in both typed and object-oriented languages (Typescript, Python).
A SQL database guru (ideally PostgreSQL), able to guide and review security practices.
Familiar with Spring Boot (Java) and Angular (Typescript) as well as deployment infrastructure, Kubernetes, security hardening clusters and config management.
Comfortable handling centralized metrics and log collection, REST APIs, and other web API standards.

Direct experience with aviation software, air domain awareness, and altitude reference data would be valuable.
