Procurement Manager

Job Purpose

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, services, and other requirements while maintaining quality, supplier reliability, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and procedures.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and best value.

• Manage purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement documentation.

• Ensure materials and equipment are purchased according to approved specifications and required delivery schedules.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and pricing.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new reliable suppliers.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit facilities, delivery terms, and contractual conditions.

• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Stores, Finance, and Operations teams regarding procurement requirements.

• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Review purchase requests and ensure proper approvals are obtained before purchasing.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, and purchase orders.

• Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Handle urgent procurement requirements and resolve supplier-related issues.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.

• Support management with procurement reports, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
