Nanosonics is seeking a Product Manager - Consumables

.

This is a remote position.

Nanosonics is a company that specializes in the development of innovative solutions for the automated reprocessing of reusable medical devices.

Today, Nanosonics has a global presence with offices across Australia, Canada, the United States of America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Japan. Global HQ is located in Macquarie Park, Sydney, where all Research & Development, Manufacturing and Corporate functions reside. The US Corporate HQ is located in Indianapolis, IN.

The Product Manager – Consumables is a key contact and subject matter resource for our infection prevention consumable and ecosystem products. You will manage expansion of the base business and portfolio growth while contributing to profitable growth objectives. The role requires data-informed decision making and the ability to contribute to and execute against a strategic plan.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the development, communication, and execution of the yearly business plan for consumable goods.

  • Monitor and submit an accurate forecast for consumable products on a regular basis.

  • Conduct regular analysis on consumable and ecosystem portfolios; maintain reporting tools to identify trends and recommend actions as needed.

  • Contribute to revenue, gross margin, and product objectives for the consumables and ecosystem portfolios.

  • Probe to fully uncover and understand customer objectives and goals and effectively match our products, services and technologies to assist in solving customer issues.

  • Develop marketing materials and sales tools to support sales efforts focused on solution/portfolio and consultative selling.

  • Deliver portfolio expansion through new product launches and development of new SKU offerings for customers.

  • Streamline customer ordering options and capabilities – sample activities include channel partner integrations and e-commerce.

  • Develop relationships with channel partners to educate on our product line and identify new ways to maximize sales opportunities within distributor accounts.

  • Demonstrates and can apply product and clinical knowledge.

  • Capable of delineating and communicating the strengths and competitive advantages of company products, services and technologies and how the application of these can assist the customer in meeting their objectives.

  • Helps identify business priorities and activities; works to stay focused on proactive measures and minimize reactive elements.

  • Maintain strong internal and external customer relationships by demonstrating integrity and being accountable for commitments.

  • Ensure customer’s needs are communicated and interpreted throughout the appropriate

channels.

  • Consistently acts in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations while considering the reasonableness of request and fairness to the company.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Marketing preferred); MBA preferred

  • Minimum three (3+) years of successful product management, marketing, or related commercial experience; consumables experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of downstream marketing, including experience launching new products in the North American market.

  • Exposure to product lifecycle management and roadmap development.

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across the organization.

  • Adept at working with market development managers to create customer-facing materials.

  • Experience with digital eCommerce solutions is strongly preferred.

  • Successful history collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing and commercial objectives.

  • Experience in infection control and risk management (preferred).

  • Understanding of the hospital buying process including the role of National Accounts, GPOs, IDNs, and distributors.

  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.

  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work with ambiguity.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% - trade shows, customer visits, internal meetings, etc.

  • Strong business and time management skills; ability to balance business-critical activities and defined priorities.

  • Demonstrated capability collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to multiple stakeholder levels

Pay range and compensation package

Annual salary $108,000 - $128,000

STI 10%
