About The Role
The Product Manager will own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a developer platform that provides APIs, cloud infrastructure, observability, and deployment workflows used by engineering teams to build and operate production services.
This role turns customer and business needs into clear product requirements, prioritizes work across engineering and design, and drives delivery from discovery through launch. Success means faster developer workflows, reliable platform adoption, and measurable improvements in system performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
-
Define and maintain the product strategy and quarterly roadmap for platform capabilities, balancing customer needs, technical debt, reliability, and commercial priorities
-
Translate complex infrastructure and developer experience problems into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics
-
Partner with backend, infrastructure, security, and developer experience engineers to scope initiatives involving APIs, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and cloud services
-
Use product analytics, customer interviews, support data, and tools such as Amplitude, Looker, Jira, and Linear to identify opportunities and evaluate outcomes
-
Lead execution rituals including roadmap reviews, sprint planning, launch readiness, risk tracking, and cross-functional status updates
-
Coordinate beta programs and product launches, including documentation, enablement materials, migration plans, release notes, and post-launch analysis
-
Communicate tradeoffs and decisions clearly to executives, engineering teams, sales, customer success, and strategic customers
What We Are Looking For
-
3โ8 years of product management experience, including ownership of technical products, developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, or cloud platforms
-
Demonstrated experience taking products from discovery through launch and measuring adoption, engagement, retention, reliability, or revenue impact
-
Strong technical fluency with REST or GraphQL APIs, distributed systems, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and modern software delivery practices
-
Experience working closely with engineering teams using Agile or iterative development methods, product analytics, and tools such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, or equivalent
-
Excellent ability to write concise product requirements, define success metrics, prioritize roadmaps, and make decisions with incomplete information
-
Bachelorโs degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
-
Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, observability platforms, developer portals, enterprise SaaS, or building products for infrastructure and platform engineering teams
