Product Manager
Evlo AI
Job description
About The Role
The Product Manager will own strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer-facing cloud infrastructure products, including APIs, deployment workflows, observability, and platform reliability capabilities. The role translates engineering constraints and customer needs into clear product priorities that improve how teams build, ship, and operate software.
You will work closely with software engineers, infrastructure specialists, designers, and go-to-market partners to define problems, validate solutions, and deliver measurable product outcomes. The role matters because dependable internal platforms reduce engineering friction, accelerate release cycles, and create a stronger foundation for customer-facing products.
Key Responsibilities
-
Define and maintain the product strategy, roadmap, and quarterly objectives for cloud platform and developer tooling capabilities
-
Translate customer feedback, usage data, and technical constraints into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs in Jira or Linear
-
Partner with engineering leads to scope and deliver APIs, CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes-based deployment tooling, observability features, and platform automation
-
Lead discovery through customer interviews, workflow analysis, prototype reviews, and usability testing with developers and technical stakeholders
-
Establish success metrics using product analytics, cloud usage data, adoption funnels, reliability indicators, and operational feedback
-
Coordinate releases across engineering, design, security, documentation, support, and go-to-market teams; communicate tradeoffs, risks, and launch readiness
-
Drive ongoing product improvement through experimentation, roadmap reviews, post-launch analysis, and structured feedback from internal and external users
What We Are Looking For
-
3โ8 years of experience in product management, technical product management, platform engineering, or a closely related role, including ownership of software products from discovery through launch
-
Demonstrated experience building or managing developer-facing products such as APIs, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, Kubernetes platforms, observability tools, or internal developer portals
-
Strong technical fluency with distributed systems, REST or GraphQL APIs, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and modern software delivery practices
-
Experience working directly with engineering teams using Agile planning, roadmap management, backlog prioritization, and tools such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, or equivalent
-
Ability to define product requirements, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and make clear prioritization decisions under technical and commercial constraints
-
Bachelorโs degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent technical experience is acceptable
-
Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, developer experience platforms, enterprise SaaS, or product-led growth analytics
