Product Manager - Global Expansion
Ria Money Transfer
Job description
About the Company
Ria Money Transfer is a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT). We make it fast, reliable, and affordable for people to send money abroad. Ria has become one of the largest players in traditional remittances, and now we're focused on making online money transfers simple and accessible to everyone.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager, Expansion to lead Ria's digital money transfer products into new markets around the world. You'll own the product work that opens each new market โ running the first launches yourself, then building the playbook that makes every launch after that faster.
Every market is different: regulations, KYC, payment methods, currencies, pricing, and customer expectations all vary. Your job is to translate those differences into clear product requirements, then lead a dedicated cross-functional squad โ spanning Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Payments, Design, and regional teams โ from discovery through launch and scale. This is a consumer-facing PM role with real scale and real stakes: you're on the hook for expanding Ria's footprint and digital adoption across a customer base placing millions of transactions. We share the target market list during the interview process.
If you like solving practical problems that touch millions of people sending money home โ and want to lead the work that makes it possible โ we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do
Discover Opportunities
-
Study each target market: customer segments, corridors, competitors, and local payment habits.
-
Talk to customers and local teams to learn how people send money today, and what stops them.
-
Turn local rules and payment requirements into a clear product scope for each launch.
Drive Execution
-
Write clear specs for market setup: onboarding, identity checks, local payment methods, payout options, language, and pricing.
-
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and QA to ship each launch across web and mobile.
-
Start with a small pilot, measure the funnel, then open the market to full traffic.
-
Build a repeatable launch playbook, so each new market takes less time than the last.
Own Outcomes
-
Own the launch metrics for each new market: registrations, first transfer conversion, and early retention.
-
Push for measurable impact, not just output.
-
Own delivery and results, adjusting your approach based on outcomes.
Align Stakeholders
-
Partner with Compliance, Legal, Payments, Marketing, and regional teams. Build trust and a shared launch plan.
-
Plan for compliance, legal, and operational needs early to move fast without risking quality.
-
Make trade-offs and opportunity costs visible with data, and hold a clear position when the evidence supports it.
What We're Looking For
Every PM on our team
-
5+ years of product experience in software, fintech, or online services.
-
Strong generalist. You are good at many things, and you are curious about what drives customer behavior.
-
Strong with data. You pull and analyze product data yourself, and you turn it into decisions.
-
Strong UX sense. You can pinpoint what makes a product experience good or bad, and explain why.
-
Technical enough to build. You are not a software engineer, but you can build prototypes and small tools with AI coding tools, debug them, and make them work.
-
Proven record of shipping and iterating on impactful products.
-
Hands-on, with a bias for action and comfortable diving into the details.
-
Able to zoom in and out between strategy and execution.
-
Clear communicator who backs decisions with evidence.
-
Degree in business, design, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
-
Familiar with tools like Segment, Amplitude, Branch, Posthog or Iterable.
-
You regularly explore new apps and often find yourself analyzing what makes them work, or not.
For this role
-
Experience launching a consumer product in a country that was new to your company. You handled local payments, local rules, and localization.
-
Comfortable with regulated products. You can read a legal requirement, ask Compliance the right questions, then write the product scope.
-
Experience with payment methods, identity checks, or onboarding in more than one country.
-
Able to run several launches at once, each one at a different stage.
-
Strong empathy for customers in markets where you have never lived. You test your assumptions instead of trusting them.
-
Comfortable with ambiguity. A new market gives you thin data, and you still have to decide.
Nice to Have
-
Direct experience in remittances or cross-border payments specifically, rather than fintech generally.
-
Spanish or another additional language.
-
Working SQL knowledge.
Practical
-
Fluent in English, with experience working across time zones and remote teams.
-
Willing to work in a hybrid setup, with at least Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office.
-
Reside in Denver, CO or be open to relocating.
-
Authorized to work in the United States.
