Product Manager
Spellbinders Paper Arts, LLC
Job description
Join the Spellbinders Product Development Team!
Spellbinders Paper Arts is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Product Manager to manage products from initial concept through final production handoff.
This isn't a creative design role—you'll be the person who owns the process, working with our creative, product, and operations teams to turn great ideas into great products, accurately, profitably, and on time.
What You'll Do
-
Manage products from concept through design, prototyping, testing, packaging, costing, and final handoff to Supply Chain.
-
Partner with inside and outside designers to collect their ideas and inspiration, and then work with graphic designers and illustrators to turn that inspiration into production ready artwork.
-
Coordinate prototypes and samples, manage product testing, and ensure products meet quality standards.
-
Oversee packaging development and carefully proof artwork, product information, specifications, and other details.
-
Manage product costing, pricing, and margin calculations.
-
Maintain product data, development timelines, and project trackers using Excel, Basecamp and other systems.
-
Manage multiple products and collections simultaneously, proactively identifying roadblocks and driving solutions to keep projects on schedule.
-
Coordinate across Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches.
What We're Looking For
-
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Strong project management, organization, and follow-through.
-
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with pricing, costing, margins, and product data.
-
Ability to manage a high volume of projects and competing deadlines.
-
A strong sense of ownership—you don't just identify that something is stuck; you proactively figure out how to get it moving again.
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience in product development, product management, project management, merchandising, sourcing, or a related field.
-
Ideally, familiarity with papercrafting, crafting, stationery, or creative consumer products is highly preferred.
-
Ideally, demonstrable knowledge of using AI in their day-to-day responsibilities.
You'll Love This Role If You...
You love a good spreadsheet, notice the details others miss, and get satisfaction from bringing order to a lot of moving pieces. You're comfortable working with creative people but equally comfortable with timelines, numbers, and processes—and you're persistent enough to get a product across the finish line.
At Spellbinders, our Product Development team brings hundreds of new creative products to market each year. This role sits at the center of that process, helping turn creative concepts into products that inspire makers around the world.
