Quasent is seeking Senior Product Manager, Surgical Solutions for our clients Healthcare Solutions Product Management team. This is a full-time, Remote opportunity.

This individual will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of digital solutions supporting our Surgical business portfolio.

The Product Manager will serve as the voice of the customer and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, clinical users, commercial teams, and software development teams. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical workflows and healthcare operations, combined with product management experience and a passion for building innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience working within the surgical industry through clinical, operational, sales, implementation, or product management roles and possesses a strong understanding of surgical inventory, case management, implant workflows, and healthcare technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

Develop and maintain the strategic product roadmap for the HCS Surgical portfolio.
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and business challenges to drive product innovation.
Partner with leadership to define product vision, priorities, and success metrics.
Evaluate competitive offerings, market trends, and emerging technologies within the surgical and healthcare IT landscape.

Product Development & Execution

Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Implementation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product prioritization activities.
Define acceptance criteria and participate in user acceptance testing.
Ensure solutions align with customer needs, business objectives, and platform strategy.

Customer & Clinical Engagement

Engage directly with customers, surgeons, clinical staff, and operational teams to understand pain points and workflow challenges.
Conduct user interviews, workflow assessments, and product feedback sessions.
Translate clinical and operational needs into actionable product requirements.
Serve as a product subject matter expert for internal and external audiences.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner with Commercial, Customer Success, Implementation, Project Management, and Marketing teams to drive successful launches and customer adoption.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams.
Present product updates, roadmap status, and business cases to leadership.
Support go-to-market planning and commercialization activities.

Portfolio Management

Monitor product performance through KPIs, customer feedback, usage analytics, and business outcomes.
Manage product lifecycle activities including enhancements, releases, and end-of-life decisions.
Help establish scalable product management processes and best practices across the HCS portfolio.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Clinical Sciences, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related healthcare technology experience.
3+ years of experience in the surgical industry, healthcare operations, medical device industry, OR clinical environments supporting surgical care.
Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into product requirements and user stories.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.

Preferred

Experience supporting surgical inventory management, case management, implant tracking, consignment inventory, or orthopedic workflows.
Experience with SaaS products, healthcare software, or healthcare automation platforms.
Familiarity with EHR/EMR integrations, healthcare interoperability, and healthcare workflows.
Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
Product management certification (Pragmatic, AIPMM, CSPO, or equivalent).
MBA or advanced healthcare-related degree.
