Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
Product Owner
to drive product vision, strategy, and execution. The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, UX designers, and Scrum teams to define product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure successful delivery of high-value solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and stakeholder management.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $97k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:

Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and business objectives.

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.

Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into product features.

Work closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and UX/UI designers throughout the product lifecycle.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Make informed decisions regarding feature prioritization and release planning.

Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify enhancement opportunities.

Ensure delivered solutions align with business requirements and quality standards.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support production releases.

Track KPIs and product success metrics.
Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience managing product backlogs and sprint planning.

Expertise in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with product management tools such as:

Jira
-
Confluence
-
Azure DevOps
-
Trello (preferred)

Understanding of SDLC and software development processes.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to make data-driven decisions.
