Synkwise
Job description
Location: Camas, WA / Hybrid
Department: Product
Reports To: Founder & CEO / Executive Leadership
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Benefits: Healthcare benefits and a company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan
About Synkwise
Synkwise is a rapidly growing healthcare SaaS company dedicated to improving how residential long-term care providers operate and deliver care. Our platform helps adult family homes, assisted living communities, memory care providers, and other residential care organizations simplify daily operations, strengthen compliance, reduce administrative burden, and improve care quality.
We are building a mission-driven company grounded in integrity, innovation, accountability, thoughtful product design, and exceptional customer experience.
As Synkwise continues to grow nationally and expand our platformâs capabilities, we are looking for an experienced product leader to help us accelerate our offering.
About the Opportunity
Synkwise is hiring a full-time Senior Product Manager to help shape and guide the continued evolution of our platform. This is a highly cross-functional and hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between product strategy, customer needs, UI/UX, business requirements, technical specs, and engineering execution.
We are looking for a strong product thinker and operator who can understand a real-world problem, translate the solution into clear requirements, and work closely with design and engineering to carry it through release.
The right candidate will understand that great product management starts with understanding the user, use case, and underlying problem, not simply implementing feature requests.
What Youâll Do
-
Lead product initiatives from early discovery through design, development, testing, and release
-
Keep Jira fully functioning and movingâŠenough said
-
Turn complex customer and business problems into clear epics, workflows, and actionable requirements
-
Understand who weâre building for and keep their real-world needs at the center of product decisions
-
Partner closely with design and engineering to create intuitive, consistent, and scalable product experiences
-
Spot unclear requirements, unnecessary complexity, and potential usability issues before they reach development
-
Bring structure and momentum to backlog refinement, sprint planning, product reviews, and retrospectives
-
Gather insights from customers and teams across Customer Success, Sales, Clinical, Compliance, and Engineering
-
Evaluate opportunities based on customer impact, feasibility, and long-term strategic value
-
Create practical SOPs and product documentation that people can actually understand and use
-
Write clear, customer-friendly release notes that explain what changed and why it matters
Building Products for Whatâs Next
We believe AI is changing how great products are imagined, tested, and built. Weâre looking for someone who is excited to help us take advantage of that shift.
Youâll use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Figma, Jira, GitHub, and AI-assisted prototyping platforms to explore ideas, sharpen requirements, accelerate research, and collaborate more effectively with design and engineering.
You donât need to be an expert in every tool. You do need to be curious and willing to experiment with better ways of working.
Most importantly, we believe AI should strengthen human judgment, not replace it. Great product development still begins with understanding customers, asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and knowing which problems are truly worth solving.
What Weâre Looking For
Weâre looking for an experienced product leader who can understand complex problems, bring clarity to competing priorities, and help teams build software that people genuinely enjoy using. Healthcare experience is welcome but not required. Strong product thinking and the ability to learn a new industry matter more.
-
Proven experience leading SaaS products from discovery through release
-
Strong product judgment and the ability to uncover the real problem behind a request
-
Top talent for turning complex ideas into clear requirements and practical solutions
-
Technical fluency and the ability to work effectively with engineering and QA
-
A strong eye for intuitive workflows, thoughtful design, and excellent user experiences
-
Experience managing product backlogs and working in an Agile environment
-
Clear communication and confidence working across teams
-
A high degree of ownership, curiosity, and adaptability
What Will Make You Stand Out
Weâre especially interested in candidates who have helped build thoughtful, intuitive products within complex environments. You may stand out if you have experience with:
-
Complex B2B SaaS platforms with multiple workflows, roles, and user types
-
Products used by frontline teams in fast-moving operational environments
-
Regulated or mission-critical software where accuracy and reliability matter
-
Simplifying complicated processes through strong product and UX decisions
-
Product analytics, customer insights, and feature-adoption measurement
-
AI-powered features or workflow automation
-
Integrations, APIs, permissions, and data-heavy products
-
Figma, prototyping, or close collaboration with product designers
-
Healthcare technology, clinical workflows, or long-term care
Healthcare experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is your ability to learn a complex industry, understand its users, and turn their real-world challenges into excellent software.
Why Youâll Love Working at Synkwise
Synkwise is growing quickly, but weâre still small enough that your ideas, decisions, and work will have a visible impact. You wonât be buried under layers of approval or handed a roadmap someone else already finished.
-
Help shape a product used every day by thousands of residential care providers
-
Work alongside a smart, approachable team that genuinely enjoys building together
-
Take meaningful ownership without navigating unnecessary corporate red tape
-
Explore practical ways to bring AI into real-world workflows
-
See your ideas move from conversation to production and hear directly from the people using them
-
Join a company that takes its mission seriously without taking itself too seriously
-
Enjoy healthcare benefits, a company-sponsored 401(k), team events, and plenty of reasons to look forward to coming to work
We work hard, move quickly, laugh often, and care deeply about the people we serve. If you want to help build something meaningful with a team that values good ideas over job titles. We strive daily to make you feel like you belong and are welcome. Culture takes work, and itâs intentional in our companyâs DNA.

How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief cover letter explaining why they are a strong fit for Synkwise and this Senior Product Manager position.
Candidates are encouraged to include examples of products, workflows, features, prototypes, or SaaS experiences they have helped bring from concept through release.
Selected candidates should expect a practical product exercise during the interview process. The exercise will focus on evaluating a real-world SaaS workflow, identifying user and UX challenges, proposing improvements, and demonstrating how those improvements would be translated into actionable product requirements.
We care less about producing a polished presentation and more about seeing how you think, how you simplify complex problems, and how you translate product thinking into execution.
