09 The Role: Product Owner & Business Analyst, Managed Corporate Actions (MCA)

The Team: **The Managed Corporate Actions (MCA) team is responsible for delivering corporate actions data, managed services, and workflow solutions to financial institutions globally. We work closely with clients, commercial teams, operations, technology, and data partners to drive product innovation, operational excellence, and business growth. Our focus is on helping clients manage increasingly complex corporate actions and reference data requirements through scalable products and managed services.

The Impact:** **This role sits at the intersection of product, strategy, client engagement, and execution. You will help shape and deliver enhancements that improve how global financial institutions consume and manage corporate actions data while supporting the growth and scalability of the MCA business. Your work will directly influence client satisfaction, operational efficiency, product adoption, and the expansion of new services and market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to define, prioritise, and deliver product enhancements, strategic initiatives, and roadmap objectives.

• Gather, analyse, and document business and client requirements, translating them into clear user stories and functional specifications.

• Support product delivery through testing, UAT, implementation, and release management activities.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business evaluations to identify growth opportunities and service enhancements.

• Collaborate with clients and commercial teams on solution design, RFPs, due diligence requests, and product presentations.

• Drive operational improvement initiatives by supporting workflow optimisation, automation, KPI tracking, and risk mitigation activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline.

• 6-8 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, or Managed Services.

• Strong understanding of corporate actions, securities reference data, and financial markets including Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, and ETFs.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and managing requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple business functions.

• Commercial mindset with an interest in product growth, client engagement, and market opportunities.
