Job description

Lead the development of complex products or features and drive backlog strategy across a broader functional domain, ensuring alignment with long-term platform and architecture strategy. You also take on people management responsibilities, leading and growing a small team of Technical Product Owners as part of your role. As a Lead TPO, you balance trade-offs between scope, time, and quality, guide product teams through complex decision-making, and mentor other Technical Product Owners while evolving the architecture and roadmap to support future requirements.

  • Balance trade-offs between scope, time, and quality in product delivery.

  • Define milestones and a long-term roadmap to ensure product delivery.

  • Guide product teams through complex decision-making processes and oversee delivery of critical, high-impact products.

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Product Owners, supporting their career development and performance.

  • Evolve the architecture to support future requirements and define SLAs.

  • Provide coaching and training for the team's growth, driving career development and mentoring programs.

  • Define and enforce best practices for project and product management, adapting processes to evolving business needs.

  • 4-8 years of experience in product or technical roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex features.

  • Advanced Agile practices and trade-off analysis skills.

  • Prior experience managing or directly leading a small team, with a track record of supporting team members' growth and performance.

  • Architecture and roadmap planning experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate across multiple teams.

  • Ability to provide effective feedback and moderate discussions.

  • People-management mindset, comfortable setting expectations, giving feedback, and developing team members.
