Project Engineer Civil

A Civil Project Engineer in a swimming pool division is responsible for the technical planning, design oversight, and construction management of pool-related civil works, ensuring compliance with Qatar’s building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.

• Prepare and review civil and structural designs for swimming pool facilities, including excavation, waterproofing, structural reinforcement, and finishing works

• Ensure designs comply with Qatar Civil and Building Regulations, ASTM/ISO standards, and client specifications

• Supervise on-site civil construction activities for pool projects, including earthworks, reinforcement, and finishing

• Monitor quality, progress, and safety compliance; resolve technical issues promptly

• Conduct inspections and sign off on work packages before progression.

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to align project execution with schedules and budgets

• Prepare and issue construction drawing packages, as-built drawings, and technical reports

• Attend project meetings, progress reviews, and client consultations.

• Maintain project documentation, including permits, approvals, and compliance records

• Ensure adherence to QHSE policies and environmental standards for pool construction.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 5+ years in civil engineering, with specific experience in water treatment, pool construction, or similar facilities

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural design software

• Knowledge of Qatar building codes, pool safety standards, and waterproofing systems.

• Strong project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
