Job Description
Job Purpose:
To manage, supervise, and ensure the successful execution of civil works in 380 kV substation projects (HV/MV), in compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, contract requirements, safety, and quality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, monitor, and control all civil construction activities at the substation site, including foundations, control building, cable trenches, equipment foundations, roads, and fencing.

Ensure all works are executed in compliance with SEC standards, drawings, and specifications.

Review civil designs, drawings, and shop drawings and coordinate with engineering consultants/contractors for approvals.

Coordinate with project stakeholders (SEC representatives, consultants, contractors, and suppliers) for timely progress.

Plan and schedule civil construction activities to meet project timelines and milestones.

Monitor quality of materials and workmanship, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to project QA/QC requirements.

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at the project site.

Prepare and maintain project documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection requests, and material approvals.

Assist in resolving technical issues, variations, and claims related to civil works.

Support the Project Manager in progress meetings and provide input on civil work status and challenges.

Ensure timely completion and handover of civil works to enable installation of electrical equipment and overall substation commissioning.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in EPC Substation Projects within Saudi Arabia.

Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects.

Strong track record in delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule.

Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama will be an added advantage.
