to join our rapidly growing Scholarion team on an initial contract through to February 2027, with an ASAP start.

This opportunity is open to candidates across Australia, including those who hold Australian Permanent Residency.

If you’re a motivated self-starter with extensive Project Management experience and are looking to join a growing team with exciting projects and strong career opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

What will make you successful in this role?

Responsibilities / Key Capabilities:

  • Experienced Project Manager with a strong track record delivering fixed-price projects.

  • Able to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies and acceptance criteria.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate project governance, reporting, decision-making and escalation processes.

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, effort, utilisation and delivery against agreed commercial targets.

  • Proactively control scope and manage variations through a clear change-control process.

  • Track actions, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions through to resolution.

  • Coordinate internal delivery teams, external suppliers, partners and client stakeholders.

  • Manage both client-facing projects and internal business or product initiatives.

  • Translate contractual commitments and statements of work into practical delivery plans and accountable tasks.

  • Ensure team members understand their responsibilities, deadlines and expected outcomes.

  • Monitor progress closely and intervene early where delivery, budget, quality or timing is at risk.

  • Provide clear, concise and accurate status reporting to clients, project sponsors and senior leadership.

  • Facilitate project meetings, governance forums, workshops, steering committees and delivery reviews.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain constructive relationships, including during difficult delivery conversations.

  • Maintain project documentation, approvals, financial records and an auditable record of key decisions.

  • Coordinate testing, readiness, cutover, go-live, handover and project closure activities where applicable.

  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and are formally reviewed, accepted and signed off.

  • Work effectively across technical, functional, commercial and operational teams.

  • Be commercially disciplined, delivery-focused and comfortable being held accountable for project outcomes.

  • Strong communication, organisation, prioritisation, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where the Project Manager is expected to actively drive delivery, not simply report on it.

Working Conditions:

  • Australian Permanent Resident

  • Initial contract until February 2027

  • Hybrid

  • Open to all major locations e.g., Sydney/Canberra/Melbourne/Brisbane/Perth
