Job Description
This is a great opportunity for a skilled electrical or engineering professional with excellent stakeholder relationship skills to expand their career into Project Management.
Working across a diverse portfolio of high-voltage infrastructure, youâll take ownership of projects from early client engagement through to delivery and close-out. These arenât typical âset and forgetâ projects â theyâre fast-moving, technically interesting, and often tied to critical network reliability and renewable generation assets. Youâll be managing everything from planned maintenance programs through to reactive works such as cable faults and wind farm outages, where speed, coordination and clear decision-making are essential.
A key part of the role is building strong relationships with clients, ensuring scopes are clearly defined, resources are planned effectively, and delivery is seamless from mobilisation through to completion. Youâll coordinate internal delivery teams and specialist subcontractors, manage timelines and commercial outcomes, and maintain consistent communication to keep projects on track.
Beyond delivery, youâll play a broader role in supporting the wider construction and operations teams â helping optimise workforce utilisation, contributing to repeat business, and positioning CPP as a trusted partner in the HV space.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
-
Experience in high-voltage (HV)Â or a similar electrical, utilities or renewables infrastructure environment
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
-
Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resourcing, subcontractor coordination and client engagement
-
Demonstrated commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets, margins and delivery outcomes
-
Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring real-time problem solving and coordination across multiple stakeholders
-
A technical background in electrical, HV, utilities or engineering
