Project Manager – ELV, Telecom & Radio Systems (TETRA/DIMETRA)

Job Summary

Al Wafa Technical Systems Services L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ELV, Telecom, and Radio Communication projects, with a specific focus on TETRA and Motorola DIMETRA radio network systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery — from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and client handover — while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships across government, semi-government, and oil & gas sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage ELV, Telecom, and Radio Systems projects (TETRA/DIMETRA) from award through final handover and close-out.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets; monitor progress and report variances to management.

• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure technical compliance with client and consultant specifications.

• Manage relationships with radio system OEMs (Motorola Solutions DIMETRA, Airbus TETRA, or equivalent) and coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).

• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies (e.g., TDRA) on project requirements, frequency coordination, and approvals.

• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure works are executed safely, on schedule, and within scope.

• Manage project risk, change orders, variations, and claims; escalate issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

• Ensure all installation and commissioning activities comply with relevant UAE codes, NFPA/TRA/TDRA standards, and client HSE requirements.

• Prepare and present progress reports, technical submittals, and project documentation to internal management and clients.

• Support tendering and pre-sales teams with technical input, BOQ review, and cost estimation for new radio/telecom opportunities.

• Ensure timely project handover, as-built documentation, training, and warranty/O&M transition to the client.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in ELV, Telecom, or Radio Communication systems, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.

• Proven hands-on experience with TETRA and/or Motorola DIMETRA radio network systems is mandatory (design, deployment, or project management level).

• Prior experience delivering projects for ADNOC or ADNOC Group companies is definitely a preference

• Strong working knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, PA/VA, structured cabling) in addition to radio/telecom systems is preferred.

• PMP certification (valid) is required or must be obtained within an agreed probation period.

• Familiarity with UAE regulatory environment, including TDRA frequency licensing and approval processes.

• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED14,500.00 per month
