Project Manager

Role description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage high-profile lighting projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the lighting industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale lighting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving any issues that arise.

• Conduct regular project reviews and provide comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.

• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

• Mentor and guide project team members, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related technical field

  .

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.

• 5+ years of proven experience in project management

  , preferably within the lighting, architectural lighting, electrical, construction, or related industries.

  GCC experience is highly preferred.

• Strong

  engineering and technical background

  , with a solid understanding of electrical systems, architectural design principles, lighting applications, and project execution.

• Ability to utilize

  AI-enabled tools and digital technologies

  to enhance project management processes and team productivity.

• Proven experience in managing

  large-scale and complex projects

  involving multiple stakeholders, disciplines, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Strong understanding of

  lighting technologies, products, systems, applications, and relevant industry standards

  , with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage project

  scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, procurement, and stakeholder expectations

  in accordance with established project management methodologies.

• Excellent

  leadership, communication, negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in

  project management software, reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and other digital project management platforms
