What We Are Looking For

About the Team

Join a small, high-impact team within Rheinmetall Defence’s Weapon and Ammunitions business unit, delivering critical Protections Systems projects including MASS, Land 400 Phase 2 and more.

Working closely with the Program Director – Weapons, Ammunition and Protection, you’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for taking projects through manufacturing, integration and delivery. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment where resilience, energy and a hands-on approach are highly valued.

About The Role

As the

Project Manager – Protection Systems

you’ll take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of armour protection systems. You will define and then manage project work breakdown structures, schedules, resources and budgets while tracking performance, reporting progress and proactively identify and manage risks.

This is a varied role that will see you work across multiple areas of the business, ensuring projects remain on track and are delivered successfully. In this role you will be involved in key technology qualification, validation and delivery.

project management, engineering, production, or supply chain

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

  • Tertiary qualification Project Management or any other in a relevant equivalent;

  • Excellent demonstrated Project and Financial management;

  • Demonstrated experience in production, supply chain, manufacturing environments.

  • Eligibility to obtain an NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
