Project Manager (Railway Mainline)

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is hiring a Project Manager-Main Line for major Railway project.

Responsibilities:

• Direct overall construction activities for mainline railway works, including

  earthworks, formation, embankments, trackbed, bridges, culverts, drainage and associated infrastructure

  .

• Lead construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.

• Develop and implement construction strategies, methodologies, sequencing and resource plans.

• Coordinate with Design, Planning, Commercial, QA/QC, HSE and Rail Systems teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Monitor programme progress, identify delays and implement recovery and mitigation measures.

• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and railway authority requirements.

• Manage interfaces between

  civil works, track, signaling, power, telecom and other railway systems

  .

• Oversee construction risks, temporary works, site logistics and construction readiness.

• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, authorities and key stakeholders on construction matters.

• Drive HSE performance, quality assurance, productivity and cost control.

• Support testing, commissioning, handover and close-out activities.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in

  Civil Engineering

  ; Master’s degree preferred.

• 20+ years

  of construction experience, with significant experience in major railway/infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience in

  mainline railway, high-speed rail or major railway infrastructure

  projects.

• Strong knowledge of railway construction methodologies, civil works, track interfaces and project delivery.

• Experience with large multidisciplinary teams and major subcontractors.
