About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer I to join our quality team and help test features across our platform. This is a great fit for someone early in their QA career who wants to build a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing.

This role is 100% on-site at our corporate Headquarters in New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases against new features and bug fixes

  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports

  • Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests under senior guidance

  • Perform manual testing across web and API surfaces

  • Help maintain test documentation and test data

  • Participate in test planning discussions for assigned features

  • Learn and follow existing test automation frameworks and standards

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of QA experience (internships count)

  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts (test cases, bug lifecycle, regression testing)

  • Exposure to any of the following is a plus:

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript

  • Backend: Python, Flask

  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4j

  • Testing: PyTest, Jest, Selenium, Cypress

  • Willingness to learn test automation tools and practices

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Clear written communication

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Coursework or personal projects involving test automation

  • Basic scripting experience (Python or JavaScript)

  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
