QA Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities:

• 6+ years of experience in testing and automation with Java, Maven, and Spring Boot.

• Strong knowledge of Java programming and automation design patterns.

• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, Gherkin syntax, and feature file creation.

• Experience with Selenium for front-end automation.

• Experience with API automation frameworks (preferably Rest Assured).

• Strong experience handling and manipulating JSON-based request/response files.

• Experience with GitHub Actions for scheduled and on-demand pipeline executions.

• Proficiency in writing and maintaining SQL for data validation.

• Familiarity with Git, IntelliJ IDEA, and Windows environments.

Required skills:

• Strong understanding and Handson experience of software testing principles, including test case design, test planning, defect lifecycle management, and functional and regression testing.
