Job description

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a collaborative technology team on an initial 3-month contract. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of web applications through automated and manual testing across front-end, back-end and database environments.

Client Details

A company within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry located in Dandenong South.

Description

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.

  • Build and execute automated tests for React-based web applications.

  • Validate .NET/C# backend services and REST APIs.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.

  • Conduct API and database testing, including SQL-based data validation.

  • Identify, document and retest defects through to resolution.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.

Profile

A Successful QA Engineer Should Have

  • A relevant qualification in technology, engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester in web application environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.

  • Experience testing React-based web applications.

  • Knowledge of .NET/C# backend services and REST API testing.

  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.

  • Experience with SQL queries, database testing and data validation.

  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
