HIRING – QA/QC ENGINEER | ALUMINIUM & GLAZING WORKS

Location: Qatar

Contract Duration: 2 Months

Mind Stream is recruiting a QA/QC Engineer for a buildings project in Qatar, specializing in Aluminium & Glazing Works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect completed aluminium and glazing works against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITP

Conduct material inspections for aluminium profiles, glazing units, fixings, and accessories delivered to site

Raise and monitor NCRs for non-compliant works through to close-out

Carry out snagging and defect inspections, including location and description of defects

Verify rectification works during subsequent inspections

Prepare daily inspection records, test results, and photographic documentation

Compile clear, consultant-acceptable QA/QC reports and formal correspondence

REQUIREMENTS

Hands-on QA/QC experience in Aluminium & Glazing Works

Good knowledge of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and method statement review Experience with material inspection and approval

Strong experience raising NCRs and managing snagging/defect close-out

Good written reporting and consultant correspondence skills

Engineering Degree or Diploma

Qatar construction/buildings project experience is preferred
