QA QC Engineer (Dimensional Inspection)

• Conduct reverse engineering by inspecting components using measuring instruments such as linear, angular, and Portable CMM.

• Prepare drawings and submit them to engineering for review and approval.

• Oversee First Article Inspection (FAI) for every new manufacturing process.

• Perform inspections at all stages, document inspection reports, and highlight any issues observed.

• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if parts do not meet requirements.

• Follow up with relevant personnel to ensure timely closure of NCRs, including detailed root cause analysis, corrections, and corrective actions approved by the Quality Manager.

• Demonstrate dimensional inspection using CMM.

• Review quality requirements for inspections to ensure all inspections meet customer and standard requirements.

• Visit customer sites to gather inputs for new product development.

• Document inspection results and prepare QA reports.

• Responsible to ensure no parts will leave the GulfTek facility without any complete inspections.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection and dimensional measurement.

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.

• Proficient in performing independent inspections and capable of selecting and using appropriate measuring instruments based on limits, fits, and tolerance requirements.

• Strong working knowledge of dimensional inspection, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), limits and fits, and related quality control practices is essential.

• Certification as an NDT Level II Inspector and experience as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001/Q1 standards would be an added advantage.
