QA/ QC ENGINEER ELECTRICAL

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.

• Prepare and review quality-related documentation, including WIRs, MIRs, material submittals, method statements, and testing documentation.

• Coordinate with consultants and project teams for inspections, approvals, and resolution of quality-related comments.

• Identify non-conformities, follow up on corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of outstanding quality issues.

• Review electrical works at various installation stages, including first fix, second fix, and final fix.

• Support testing, commissioning, and inspection activities for electrical systems and equipment.

• Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.

• Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to resolve site coordination and technical issues.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and local regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in electrical construction and QA/QC activities.

• Good knowledge of electrical installation practices, inspection procedures, and quality standards.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• MCC licence for Surveillance and Monitoring Works, if applicable to the project requirements.
