QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical/MEP

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.

• Inspect mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

• Review and verify material submittals, inspection requests, method statements, and related quality documents.

• Conduct inspections and coordinate Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and related quality activities.

• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection reports, and quality records.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams regarding quality inspections and approvals.

• Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure proper implementation of project quality standards and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

• Monitor site activities and ensure that all mechanical installations meet project requirements.

• Assist in preparing quality documentation for project handover and final inspection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience in mechanical QA/QC within construction, MEP, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality standards.

• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, NCRs, and inspection procedures.

• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.

• Relevant certifications and client/consultant approvals will be an advantage, where applicable.
