Qualified Nursery Educator
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
We offer a choice of working patterns:

Four working days from 7.30am to 6.30pm, with one standby day each week

Five working days from 8am to 5pm

We are looking for a warm, dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Educator to join our special nursery community and help every child feel safe, secure, confident and able to flourish.
SNS is a family run, Froebel inspired nursery with a Christian foundation. Our approach is rooted in loving relationships, meaningful experiences, a deep connection with nature and the belief that childhood is precious.
Our childrenās learning extends far beyond the nursery walls. Their days may include adventures in local parks, Nature School, Gardening Club, library trips by bus and visits to our much loved local grocer, charity shops and Hampton Court Palace. We also welcome the wider world into SNS through special visitors, celebrations and experiences.
Your role at SNS
As a Nursery Educator, you will help create a safe, warm and inspiring environment where children feel known, understood and encouraged to shine.
You will:

Build secure and trusting relationships with children, helping them develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging

Provide rich, meaningful learning experiences that reflect childrenās interests, individual needs and natural curiosity

Support children to explore, investigate, create and learn through play

Take responsibility for a group of key children, ensuring that their care, wellbeing and learning needs are consistently met

Place childrenās safety and welfare at the heart of everything you do

Follow SNS safeguarding policies and procedures, remaining alert to concerns and reporting them promptly

Develop warm and respectful partnerships with parents and families

Observe and celebrate each childās learning, development and individual achievements

Work closely and generously with your room team

Contribute to parentsā evenings, open days, training and team meetings

Help children learn to SHINE by sharing, helping, including others and never, ever giving up

Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
