Job description
Stored Energy Concepts is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Associate I to join our Quality Control team. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. The ideal candidate has experience using precision measuring equipment, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections and measurements on incoming, in-process, and finished products.

Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, microscopes, oscilloscopes, ohm meters, and other testing equipment. (Oscilloscope added as requested; not listed in the original job description.)

Monitor manufacturing processes and identify quality concerns.

Document inspection results and maintain quality records.

Verify product rework and ensure compliance with specifications.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Skills & Abilities

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.

Frequent use of fine finger movements and hand manipulation.

Frequent close-up visual inspection using microscopes and precision equipment.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Frequent handling of small components and tools.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience, or 2 years as an Assembler Level 1/Production Associate 1.

Basic understanding of quality control and manufacturing processes.

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and computer proficiency.

Ability to pass an ATF background check.
