Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Description

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to validate the quality and performance of software solutions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with developers and product teams to understand requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring thorough regression and integration testing. The role also involves performing manual testing where necessary, documenting test results, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. This is a part-time remote role, requiring effective self-management, clear communication, and coordination with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with experience in defining test strategies and ensuring product reliability.

• Ability to design, write, and maintain detailed Test Cases, including functional, regression, and integration tests.

• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including exploratory testing and validation of user flows and edge cases.

• Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test suites using common tools and frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) to integrate automated tests into development workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on root-cause analysis.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in real estate or investment-related technology products is a plus.
