What You’ll Be Doing:

Performs prefunding reviews for approved loans, to identify and address defects prior to closing

Performs post-closing reviews for closed loans, to evaluate and monitor the quality of the loan production process

Performs servicing reviews, to ensure that mortgages are serviced in accordance with regulations and investor guidelines

Informs Mortgage leaders of loan defects or process deficiencies, and assist with resolution and remediation of errors

Performs regulatory reviews, to assess compliance with TRID, HMDA, ECOA, ATR/QM, RESPA, etc.

Stays current with changing investor and industry guidelines, regulations, legal interpretations, and fraud alerts

Independently investigates discrepancies and inconsistencies in any area of the mortgage department

Assists with evaluating appraisal, valuation, and/or AVM quality

Understands the general abilities and limitations of the mortgage and core systems, so that systemic errors can be identified

Works with mortgage department staff to resolve loan deficiencies in a timely and courteous manner

Conducts quality assurance testing related to consumer operational and servicing processing, to identify opportunities to enhance performance.

Performs regulatory reviews to assess compliance with MLA and Servicemembers’.

Maintains a high level of confidentiality in the review of credit union records and report
What You'll Need to be Successful:

Associate’s degree from a two-year college or combination of two years of college experience
-
3 years of relevant experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
