Job description:

Full time position available in a locally owned, busy and fun chocolate factory! The Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing of products and equipment, and recording/analyzing of results gathered during product development and production.

Evening and weekends off. Work shifts are 8 hours starting at 5:00am.

** Stable employment history is a must.

Job duties;

Perform a variety of duties including product inspections, calibrate metal detectors, label verifications, verify scale calibration, temper meter checks, document allergen cleaning, document temperature readings, conduct inventories, verify ingredient accuracy and follow GMP and SQF standards. Takes pride and enthusiasm in making a quality product.

Qualifications

Previous QC lab experience is a plus
Enjoys working with numbers, data and statistics
Experience with SQF and GMP’s is preferred
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively
Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus
