What You'll Do
The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance in the planning and execution of the Performance Improvement Program for the hospital. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for data collection and analysis, which drive the Performance Improvement Program.
Responsibilities
Communicates effectively. Establishes and maintains two-way communication with peers, staff, leaders, and administration.

Cooperates well with peers and supports group decisions.
Communicates appropriate information to lead staff member, supervisor, manager or director in a timely manner.
Completes required education in a timely manner.
Consistently uses skilled communication which demonstrates congruence between words and actions and holds others accountable for doing the same.
Demonstrates population appropriate skill sets for all relevant patient populations.
Performs medical record review accurately and timely.
Maintains accurate medical/allied health staff quality files (manual /electronic) and prepares finding for reappointment.
Reviews Committee agendas and minutes for accuracy and completeness.
Communicates effectively with co-workers, mangers & medical staff.
Accurately abstracts core measures data in a timely manner.
Develops presentations and educational offerings in a professional manner.
Demonstrates ability to analyze and display date using QI tools/ techniques.
Ability to lead PI teams. Develops action plans to assist teams in achieving goals.
Communicates information to supervisor /QMRC in a timely manner.
Coordinates with medical staff to ensure timely review of records as directed by the QRMC.
Exhibits computer skills including Window, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Accurately collects improvement performance data as directed.
Actively participates in the development and implementation of process improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
Possesses problem solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job **Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills
Education and Experience** **Graduate from an LPN or RN program or other health care license/degree; or MSN. Three years in an acute care facility
