Quality Engineer Civil

1. Implement and monitor the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and applicable Saudi codes and international standards.

2. Conduct inspections of civil and structural works, including excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete works, reinforcement, waterproofing, flooring, and other building-related activities.

3. Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, material submittals, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.

4. Coordinate with the client, consultant, subcontractors, and project teams for inspections, material approvals, and quality-related clearances.

5. Ensure quality control of critical data center infrastructure, including equipment foundations, equipment plinths, cable trenches, underground utilities, and other civil works supporting MEP installations.

6. Monitor concrete testing, soil compaction, reinforcement checks, material testing, and other quality tests in accordance with approved specifications.

7. Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and corrective and preventive actions.

8. Maintain inspection requests (WIRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), test reports, quality records, and documentation required for project handover.

9. Conduct regular site quality audits and inspections to identify deviations and ensure timely corrective actions.

10. Support project completion, snagging, final inspections, as-built documentation, and preparation of quality dossiers for client handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

2. Experience: 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in QA/QC Civil Engineering, preferably in data center, mission-critical facilities, industrial, or large-scale building construction projects.

3. Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction practices, concrete technology, waterproofing, earthworks, and finishing activities.

4. Experience in preparing and implementing Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.

5. Familiarity with applicable Saudi Building Code (SBC), project specifications, and relevant international quality standards.

6. Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and third-party testing agencies.

7. Strong documentation, reporting, inspection, problem-solving, and communication skills.

8. Candidates with prior experience in hyperscale data centers, critical facilities, or MEP-intensive construction projects will be preferred.

9. Location: Saudi Arabia; willingness to work at project sites as required.
