About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

LOS Teste

r with strong expertise in Newgen Loan Origination System (LOS) to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end loan origination journeys, ensuring seamless customer onboarding, credit assessment, approvals, and documentation processes, while maintaining compliance with banking policies and digital channel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate end-to-end loan origination journeys on the

Newgen LOS platform

, from application initiation through disbursement

• Test customer onboarding processes,

including KYC, document capture, and digital channel integrations

• Validate credit assessment workflows, scoring models, and underwriting rules within the system

• Test approval workflows, including maker-checker processes, escalation matrices, and multi-level sign-offs

• Validate documentation generation, e-signatures, and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements

• Execute functional testing to ensure system features perform according to business requirements

Perform integration testing across LOS and connected systems (credit bureaus, core banking, CRM, document management systems, etc.)

• Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with business stakeholders

• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development and business teams

Validate digital banking channels

(web, mobile, assisted channels) for consistency and functional accuracy across loan origination touchpoints

• Ensure test coverage aligns with internal policies, credit risk guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, and execution/defect reports

• Support regression testing for system enhancements, upgrades, and new product rollouts on Newgen LOS

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing within the

banking/financial services domain

• Hands-on experience with

Newgen Loan Origination System (LOS)

or similar loan origination platforms

• Strong understanding of

loan origination processes, including onboarding, credit assessment, underwriting, and approvals

• Experience testing

digital banking

channels and customer-facing origination journeys

• Solid knowledge of

credit workflows

, policy rules, and approval hierarchies

• Practical experience with

functional testing, integration testing, and UAT

methodologies

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business and credit policy requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with business, credit, and technical teams

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple test cycles under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Prior experience working within a bank or financial institution implementing or upgrading Newgen LOS

• Familiarity with workflow/BPM concepts underlying Newgen's platform

• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing

ISTQB

or equivalent software testing certification is a plus

• Exposure to credit bureau integrations and digital KYC/onboarding solutions is an advantage
