At PacAero, we work hard, have fun, and get stuff done. We believe culture matters â from recognizing great work and celebrating wins to creating a place where people enjoy coming to work and feel like part of the team.
What Youâll Do
As a Quality Engineer, youâll support manufacturing operations by ensuring products, processes, and quality systems meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. Youâll investigate quality issues, lead root cause and corrective action efforts, analyze quality data, and partner with teams across the business to improve processes and prevent problems from happening again.
This is a hands-on quality role. Youâll spend time both at your desk and on the manufacturing floor, working directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, customers, and other members of the Quality team. From new product introductions and first article inspections to audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement, youâll play an important role in strengthening both product quality and manufacturing performance.
What Weâre Looking For
This is an experienced Quality Engineer role. Weâre looking for someone who has worked directly in quality engineering within a regulated, precision manufacturing environment and can step into the role with a strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and problem-solving.
You should have hands-on experience investigating nonconformances, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, analyzing quality data, and working directly with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve issues.
Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or another high-reliability manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Experience with AS9100, Nadcap, first article inspections, customer corrective actions, and processes such as CNC machining, plating, laser welding, or electronic packaging is especially valuable.
If youâre an experienced Quality Engineer who likes solving problems, asking why, working across functions, and improving the process instead of simply documenting the issue, we want to hear from you.
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift | Onsite in Agawam, MA | MondayâFriday
This is an onsite position with regular interaction across our manufacturing operations.
As part of a manufacturing environment supporting customer requirements, additional hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.
