Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Interface with upper management on regulatory and clinical issues/projects.

  • Respond to clinical or technical inquiries by phone, email, fax, or letter in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide Field Assurance with clinical support in resolving customer complaints within required timeframes.

  • Identify clinical concerns with customer accounts and partner with District and Territory Managers to resolve issues.

  • Provide clinical input to product teams as needed.

  • Support investigational and marketed device studies.

  • Participate in design reviews for new or modified medical devices.

  • Review product labeling for clinical accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness.

  • Serve as a clinical resource to cross-functional teams when a healthcare professional perspective is needed.

  • Determine Medical Device Reporting (MDR) status for customer complaints.

  • Review complaint files for completeness and accuracy and prepare customer evaluation letters when required.

  • Provide clinical and technical support to Clinical Education and Marketing teams.

  • Assist in preparing responses to Regulatory Authorities, including the FDA and international Competent Authorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred.

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience required.

  • New graduate candidates will not be considered.

  • Degree-level qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing central venous access devices, including:

    • Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs)

    • Central Venous Catheters (CVCs)

    • Dialysis Catheters

    • Implanted Ports

  • Hands-on experience with infusion administration, device maintenance, troubleshooting, and dressing changes.

  • Experience supporting clinical quality, complaint investigations, patient safety, or regulatory activities is preferred.

  • PICC insertion experience is beneficial but not required.
