Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality OR Lab Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards through precise measurements, thorough inspections, and adherence to regulatory and industry guidelines. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our production processes, uphold compliance with ISO standards and FDA regulations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.

  • Conduct quality inspections and audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP standards to ensure compliance throughout the production process.

  • Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to facilitate quality control procedures.

  • Utilize calibration tools and measurement instruments to verify accuracy and maintain measurement system integrity.

  • Analyze data collected during inspections, identify deviations from quality standards, and document findings clearly for review.

  • Support quality assurance activities by participating in internal audits, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Calypso software for data collection and analysis is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing quality systems.

  • Mechanical knowledge including interpretation of mechanical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and use of precision measurement tools such as height gauges and coordinate measuring machines.

  • Experience with quality audits, quality control procedures, and quality assurance within manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to operate measuring instruments accurately and interpret measurement results effectively.

  • Familiarity with vision inspection systems, dimensional measurements, and the use of various measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes.

  • Excellent analysis skills with a focus on data collection, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.

  • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to quality standards.

  • Mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to interpret technical documents such as manufacturing blueprints and technical drawings.
