The Role
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Quality / Supplier Manager - Corporate to lead corporate supplier quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring customer and supplier quality metrics, driving problem-solving, ensuring compliance with APQP/PPAP processes, and improving overall product and process quality performance across the organization.
What You'll Do

Monitor and analyze customer quality performance metrics (PPM, PRR, NCT, warranty) to drive improvements.

Lead problem-solving activities using data-driven methodologies (8D, root cause analysis, continuous improvement tools).

Ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP processes across internal teams and suppliers.

Manage supplier performance, including scorecards, corrective actions, and escalation of issues.

Develop and report supplier metrics including PPM, delivery, responsiveness, and cost of non-conformance.

Support new program launches and communicate supplier quality risks to cross-functional teams.

Conduct audits, support management reviews, and maintain quality reporting systems.
Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience within quality.

Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).

Experience with supplier development, launch support, and performance monitoring.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tools such as Minitab.

Technical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and measurement systems.
Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements
Work involves a combination of office and plant environments requiring sitting, standing, and mobility. Ability to use a computer for extended periods is required. Travel up to 60% may be required depending on business needs. Valid driver’s license required.
