The Role

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Quality / Supplier Manager - Corporate to lead corporate supplier quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring customer and supplier quality metrics, driving problem-solving, ensuring compliance with APQP/PPAP processes, and improving overall product and process quality performance across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and analyze customer quality performance metrics (PPM, PRR, NCT, warranty) to drive improvements.

  • Lead problem-solving activities using data-driven methodologies (8D, root cause analysis, continuous improvement tools).

  • Ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP processes across internal teams and suppliers.

  • Manage supplier performance, including scorecards, corrective actions, and escalation of issues.

  • Develop and report supplier metrics including PPM, delivery, responsiveness, and cost of non-conformance.

  • Support new program launches and communicate supplier quality risks to cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct audits, support management reviews, and maintain quality reporting systems.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience within quality.

  • Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).

  • Experience with supplier development, launch support, and performance monitoring.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tools such as Minitab.

  • Technical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and measurement systems.

Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements

Work involves a combination of office and plant environments requiring sitting, standing, and mobility. Ability to use a computer for extended periods is required. Travel up to 60% may be required depending on business needs. Valid driver’s license required.
