Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Doha, Qatar. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conduct detailed cost estimates, and support tender preparation and evaluation. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, tracking variations, preparing interim and final payment applications, and maintaining accurate cost records and reports. The role involves working closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency, value for money, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The Quantity Surveyor will also assist in forecasting project budgets, supporting procurement decisions, and contributing to timely project delivery within approved financial parameters.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor expenditures and ensure projects remain within approved budgets.

• Proficiency in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off to support accurate tendering and procurement processes.

• Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to forecast budgets, track financial performance, and produce clear cost summaries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out, interior design, or construction projects, preferably in the GCC region.

• Knowledge of construction contracts, tender procedures, and industry-standard measurement methods.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to coordinate with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.

• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
