Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and calculation-focused Quantity Surveyor (QS) with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong numerical abilities to join our team.

Candidates with a Civil Engineering background or an Accounting/Finance background are preferred. Training on scaffolding-related QS procedures can be provided to the right candidate. However, exceptional calculation skills, Excel proficiency, and accuracy are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.

• Prepare and maintain detailed Excel sheets for quantity calculations, material requirements, and cost analysis.

• Calculate quantities, measurements, rates, and project costs with a high level of accuracy.

• Assist in preparing quotations, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and project cost summaries.

• Review drawings, measurements, and project specifications where required.

• Maintain organized records of calculations, estimates, and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with the sales, project, and operations teams to ensure accurate quantity and cost calculations.

Requirements

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, and calculation-based worksheets.

• Outstanding numerical ability, logical thinking, and attention to detail.

• Strong skills in measurements, calculations, quantity estimation, and data accuracy.

• Civil Engineering or Accounting/Finance background preferred.

• Previous experience in Quantity Surveying, costing, estimation, or a related role is an advantage.

• Scaffolding industry experience is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.

• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
