Our passionate teams are driven by making a genuine and lasting difference, not only through the spaces we deliver but through the positive impact we leave behind in the communities we serve.
Our work goes beyond the built environment. We champion local employment, skills development, and sustainable practices, creating opportunities and better futures along the way. From apprenticeships and training through to supporting local charities and delivering safe, welcoming environments, people always come first at Casey. Our head office is based in a modern, purpose‑built building less than four miles from Junction 21 of the M62, offering excellent transport links while being set in the countryside, surrounded by picturesque reservoirs.
If you’re looking to be part of a business where purpose, people, and quality truly matter – and where your work helps improve lives every day – you’ll feel at home at Casey.
Land Reclamation at Casey
Our Land Reclamation and Civils division plays a vital role in shaping safer, more accessible, and sustainable environments. The team delivers civil engineering, infrastructure, and environmental improvement schemes for local authorities, housing providers, and national bodies, supporting regeneration‑led projects across public realm, highways, parks, heritage spaces, and wider environmental improvements.
Known for operating successfully in live and constrained environments, the Land Reclamation team combines strong technical expertise with collaboration and problem‑solving to deliver practical, safe, and long‑lasting solutions. No two projects are the same, making the work both varied and rewarding, while always aligned with our core purpose of Improving Lives.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial management and the full surveying process. You should have solid knowledge of construction contract law, cost reporting, valuations, and the preparation of final accounts. A track record of delivering profitable projects while maintaining integrity and professionalism is essential.
The ideal candidate will be confident in managing sub-contract accounts from appointment through to final settlement. This includes handling payments, financial management, warranties, and insurances with accuracy and attention to detail. You will also liaise with clients, consultants, and the wider supply chain to ensure commercial matters are effectively resolved.
You will be working across a variety of projects including civil engineering, highways, utilities, regeneration, and public realm schemes. Strong communication and negotiation skills are vital, as you will provide commercial guidance to project teams. The ability to manage risk, mitigate challenges, and drive best practice will be central to your success.
If you are commercially astute, motivated, and experienced in the construction industry, we would love to hear from you.
