Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for construction works.

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Prepare and evaluate material and subcontractor quotations.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures.

• Prepare interim payment applications and valuations.

• Measure completed works and verify quantities at site.

• Prepare, evaluate, and track variation orders and claims.

• Review subcontractor payment applications and supporting documents.

• Assist with tender preparation, pricing, and commercial evaluations.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, and subcontractors.

• Maintain proper records of quantities, costs, variations, and contractual documents.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and requirements.

• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

• Prepare regular commercial and cost reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with UAE construction experience.

• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, estimation, valuation, variations, and cost control.

• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of FIDIC and construction contracts is an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.

• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

• UAE experience and knowledge of local construction practices preferred.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
